This site collects as little as it can. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising, and has no forms. The only personal details we receive are the ones you send us by email.
Who we are

What we collect
This site does not ask you for any personal details. If you write to us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you write.
Why we use it
We use what you send us to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry. Under United Kingdom data protection law, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We do not use your details for anything else, and we do not sell them.
Who else handles it
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify keeps server logs that include the internet address of each visitor. Netlify is based in the United States, so those logs may be processed there. Emails you send us are handled by our email provider so that we can read and answer them.
Fonts, images and scripts are served from this site itself. No other company is told that you visited. Links to other sites, such as the sources we cite and the Water Action Hub, open those sites only when you choose them.
How long we keep it
We keep your emails for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Write to hello@bluelifeline.org. If you are in the United Kingdom and are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
